About us

Artists House Broccoli is a design studio founded by couple Theodore Vass and Eliza Hopewell, who have collaborated together since 2019. Theodore previously co-ran CBS Gallery in Liverpool, before relocating to London in 2020, where he has continued to develop his furniture and design practice. His work has been exhibited at Claridge’s, Soho House and Hauser and Wirth galleries among others.

Eliza has worked as a multi disciplinary artists since 2018, across ceramics, painting, printmaking and textiles. Her work has been exhibited at Hauser and Wirth, Rhodes and Bernsten Bhattachargee among others. She has also completed several residencies including Blank 100, and the Great Women Artist’s residency at Palazzo Monti.

In 2021, Eliza and Theodore completed a joint residency at Villa Lena, helping to define their shared approach. After renovating their own flat later that year, their focus shifted towards interiors, furniture and architectural elements. Artists House Broccoli brings together their combined backgrounds in art, design and craftsmanship, working across bespoke commissions and self-initiated pieces.
